Hello! My name is Paula Flidermauz. Everyone has their own definition of empowerment, but to me it is knowing that you have choices to make, and finding the strength to make those choices; it is about reminding ourselves of our personal identity and sense of autonomy.
My Philosophy is simple: Change can be painful, even when that change is for the best. I am here to support you in your life transitions during these periods of change and in manifesting the future that you want to see for yourself. While applying this philosophy, my approach is to meet clients wherever they are with their goals for both treatment and for life. I am not here to say what would make you be your best self; I am only here to help you explore what that means to you.
I would like to provide a validating and affirming space, while also discussing some of the thoughts and behaviors that may be getting in the way of you achieving your goals. Treatment can at times be challenging, but I am here to support you through your journey without placing any judgment. It is important to feel trust and openness between us and within yourself. By identifying your personal values, strengths, motivators, and interests, we can discover where you want to be and develop the best plan for getting you there. We will work together to equip you with the tools for coping with the pain and stressors you may be experiencing and determine which of these tools best suit your needs and lifestyle. I use a strengths-based approach and like to focus on the things that you want to work on or feel are important. Again, this is about finding empowerment within and I am looking forward to helping guide you on that journey of growth and self-discovery.
Before your therapy visit, check your coverage with our Peace of Mind Calculator, which estimates how much you'll be reimbursed once you hit your deductible or out-of-pocket max.
Remember superbills, those long invoices you got from your therapist? How about claim forms? You don’t need either of those. We’ll handle your claims electronically and file them for free.
Check the status of your claims with our free Client Portal, which gives you a real-time window into the reimbursement process so you don’t have to worry if the check is in the mail.
We handle your mental health insurance electronically and file your claims for free. We also track the status of your claims and ensure they are processed correctly so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or making frustrating phone calls.
We work with your therapist to obtain all the information needed to file your claims. Then we file them electronically each week.
You only need to make sure we have your most updated insurance information. You don’t need to do anything else!
Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
We’re glad to answer any questions you have. Email us at help@meetnirvana.com and someone from our Help Desk will reach out to you.
