Hello! My name is Jill Stadterman and I am a Master’s level clinician working towards my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Barnard College and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University. I am also a proud graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
I provide both insight-oriented and skills-based cognitive behavioral therapy to adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of concerns. I am passionate about treating eating disorders, OCD, and emotion dysregulation. Because I have this passion, it lead me to being trained at the inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient levels of care. I loves the hands-on approach to working with others to help them achieve their mental goals. I have a passion to help others in a way that allows them to gain the tools they need to have so that they may live their fullest and most true lives. Through my vast experience I have seen first hand how difficult it can be to even start this journey of self help and for that I commend each and every one of you. I am here for anyone who doesn't know where to start but wants to give it a try.
When is comes to my therapeutic style, I would categorize it as warm, authentic, and non-judgmental. When we work together I strive to create a space that is safe for everyone, no matter what background, or any other personal identities one may have. It matters greatly to me that the people I work with feel respected and heard, and I take great care in making sure this is the reality. I strongly believe that learning to better understand ourselves and to cope effectively with our difficulties is what it means to living a full and meaningful life.
Before your therapy visit, check your coverage with our Peace of Mind Calculator, which estimates how much you'll be reimbursed once you hit your deductible or out-of-pocket max.
Remember superbills, those long invoices you got from your therapist? How about claim forms? You don’t need either of those. We’ll handle your claims electronically and file them for free.
Check the status of your claims with our free Client Portal, which gives you a real-time window into the reimbursement process so you don’t have to worry if the check is in the mail.
We handle your mental health insurance electronically and file your claims for free. We also track the status of your claims and ensure they are processed correctly so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or making frustrating phone calls.
We work with your therapist to obtain all the information needed to file your claims. Then we file them electronically each week.
You only need to make sure we have your most updated insurance information. You don’t need to do anything else!
Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
We’re glad to answer any questions you have. Email us at help@meetnirvana.com and someone from our Help Desk will reach out to you.
