Hello! My name is Jen Oddo. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker based out of New York City, and a Columbia University alumni.
Do you feel like you’re on autopilot, simply going through the motions of your life without the joy or energy you once had? Maybe you’ve felt out of control in your relationships, continuing to repeat the same self-defeating patterns? Together we'll work through roadblocks you may be facing and unearth old behavior patterns that may be causing challenges in your life. Whether you're looking for extra support during a difficult time, a yearning to resolve intemperate anxieties, or you're simply ready to make a change in your life, we can work together so that you can finally live the full life you've always pictured.
I specialize in helping teens deal with mood disorders, anxiety, and grief. I’m also qualified to help people with addiction, eating disorders, self-harming, sex therapy, substance use, and suicidal ideation.
Learn new ways to cope, work through feelings of grief, explore relationship and intimacy challenges, feelings of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and past traumas. Equipped with practical tools that you can implement into your everyday life, you will begin to feel more empowered and energized.
Through curiosity and non-judgement, I'll nurture greater self-compassion and self-awareness so that you can begin to experience a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others. I’d love to learn more about you and how we can work together to help push past obstacles and create boundaries in your life. Both weekday & weekend appointments available.
If you are interested in working together please feel free to call or email me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. Costs for each therapy session are on a sliding scale ranging from $100 - $200, and can be paid with American Express, Mastercard, Visa, a Health Savings Account, Cash, Check, Paypal, or an ACH Bank transfer.
Before your therapy visit, check your coverage with our Peace of Mind Calculator, which estimates how much you'll be reimbursed once you hit your deductible or out-of-pocket max.
Remember superbills, those long invoices you got from your therapist? How about claim forms? You don’t need either of those. We’ll handle your claims electronically and file them for free.
Check the status of your claims with our free Client Portal, which gives you a real-time window into the reimbursement process so you don’t have to worry if the check is in the mail.
We handle your mental health insurance electronically and file your claims for free. We also track the status of your claims and ensure they are processed correctly so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or making frustrating phone calls.
We work with your therapist to obtain all the information needed to file your claims. Then we file them electronically each week.
You only need to make sure we have your most updated insurance information. You don’t need to do anything else!
Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
We’re glad to answer any questions you have. Email us at help@meetnirvana.com and someone from our Help Desk will reach out to you.
